Button hole flowers

I used DK yarn and a 4mm hook but any yarn and appropriate hook and be used

Small

CH 10, join with a slip stitch

Round 1: DC 10 in to chain

Round 2: sl st in to first DC, [(DC, 2 HTR,3 TRC, 2 HTR, DC) in same st, sl st] five times

Fasten off

 

Large

CH 16, join with a slip stitch

Round 1: DC 16 in to chain

Round 2: sl st in to first DC, [(DC, 2 HTR,3 TRC, 2 HTR, DC) in same st, sl st] eight times

Fasten off

 

Sew a 25mm button with a little give to the hat, headband, bag, what have you and push the button through the centre hole of the flowers, large flower first. Mix and match colours for different looks.
